Hello Pallavi,

Are you saying that you did not get a period in January? And so far, not in February?

If this is correct, please take a home pregnancy test now and depending on the results, call your physician. There is no medication that you can take. It must be determined if you are pregnant or why you have not gotten a period last month.

Regards,
Maryann

Hello Anonymous,

There is no medicine, especially if you are thinking about an emergency contraceptive, that you can take now to prevent pregnancy.

If your periods normally start on the first or second day of the month, then you were not ovulating on January 28 and probably did not become pregnant then.

Try to relax and see if your period starts in the next few days.

Regards,
Maryann

On Friday I had sex for the second time ever (the first time was 6 months ago) and I was supposed to get my period on Tuesday. It is now almost Friday and i'm starting to get anxious... We also used a condom, I am just nervous. I'm scared I may be pregnant. Could I be?

Hi,
I had unprotected sex 1 day before I usually start my period. I ended up not starting. I took a test and it was negative but I'm worried now about the week I was supposed to start. Is it possible being off the pill the week I was supposed to start that I could get pregnant?
