Hello Anonymous,
If you are taking your birth control pills regularly, meaning at the same time every day, then you should be protected from becoming pregnant.
The bleeding following intercourse could be from the tearing of your hymen. The hymen is a thin tissue that covers much of the opening of the vagina. Though thin, the hymen is filled with blood vessels and so when it tears, there is often some visible blood.
Burning with urination and the frequent urge to urinate could indicate you have a urinary tract infection. Some women are prone to developing UTIs after sexual intercourse. UTIs are treated with antibiotics. You will need to visit your doctors' office and give a urine sample.
In order to prevent the development of UTIs, it is important to drink plenty of water, urinate when you feel the urge, rather than holding urine for extended periods, and urinate after intercourse.
Hope this helps,

Hi Anonymous,
As a 19 year old, you are no longer considered to be a minor and it is up to you to decide if you want to tell your parents that you have had intercourse.
A physician will exercise patient/doctor confidentiality. You can be honest with her. It will help with a diagnosis. It will be a good opportunity to discuss birth control options.

What about sore vaginal opening..?

Hi Anonymous,
The soreness could be caused by friction and lack of adequate lubrication. Applying an ice pack for a short time might ease the discomfort.
