Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER. Thank you for reaching out to us with your concern.

There is a good possibility that you did become pregnant by having unprotected intercourse around the time of ovulation. Sperm can live for three to five days in a woman's reproductive tract. A released egg lives around 12 to 24 hours. So, there was a chance of conceiving the day after ovulation.

It is too early to test. Wait. If your period is late by at least seven days, test. You could take an early response test, which allows you to test five days before the expected start date of your period. Test in the morning and use the urine when you first wake up.

Regards,
Maryann
