Hello Tina asante,
Welcome to the EmpowHER community. Thank you for reaching out to us with your question.
If you have a 28 t0 30 day menstrual cycle, day 12 was within your fertile period, or the time most likely to become pregnant, and been close to ovulation.
Postinor 2 prevents pregnancy by preventing ovulation. If you had not yet ovulated, it is very likely that the pill would have been effective in preventing pregnancy.
