Hello Anonymous,
When taken as directed, an emergency contraceptive pill is 95% effective in preventing pregnant. It is advisable to take the first dose as soon as possible and within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse. With some pills, you take the second dose 12 hours after the first dose.
You know it worked if you have vaginal bleeding within three weeks of taking the pill.
You should have taken the second pill at 4:00 am the next day.
Regards,
