Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER. Thank you for reaching out to our community with your question.

The emergency contraceptive will be effective if you took it before you ovulated. This type of pill prevents pregnancy primarily by preventing ovulation.

You took the two tablets properly. You will know if it worked once you have bleeding. If you do not have any bleeding within three weeks of taking it, test for pregnancy.

Regards,
Maryann
