Hi Anon,

Thank you for reaching out to EmpowHER with your question! It is important you realize that having any unprotected sex has a higher risk of pregnancy.

A woman is most fertile around days 10-16 of her period. However, having unprotected sex on any other day doesn't mean there isn't a risk of pregnancy. If you and your girlfriend continue having unprotected sex and don't want a pregnancy, it is important to use a form of birth control like a condom or the pill.

If you both are worried about a possible pregnancy, taking a pregnancy test is the best way to get an answer.

Please keep me updated! Let me know if you have any other questions.

Best,
Erin
