i had a unprotected sex on 1 day of my period i.e 1 dec and till today i.e 17 dec i did not had any cramps my pregnency test is also negative what should i do now am i pregnent?

Hello Anonymous,

There was no risk of becoming pregnant by having sex on the first day of your period. The reason is ovulation, which is when one of your ovaries released a mature egg, had already past. When you had sex, there was no egg for sperm to fertilize.

You got a negative test result because you are not pregnant.
Only test once your next period is late by at least seven days.
