I had unprotected sex during my last week of my first pack of birth control pills. Could I be pregnant?

He did not ejaculate. I was on the second day of the last week of pills. I've been stressing about this for a couple days. I took my first "period pill" yesterday and I still havent gotten it. What are the chances of me being pregnant?

Hello Anonymous,

By referring to the "last week of pills" in the pack, were these active pills or inactive or placebo pills? If you had sex while taking the last week of active pills, you were protected against pregnancy. If you had sex while taking the inactive pills, it would still be okay because you would be ready to start your period.

Women do not always start their period on day one of the inactive pills. If you do not get your period at all, for the entire week of inactive pills, give your physician a call.
