I had unprotected sex a few days before last months period. I had my period as normal and it started on the 6th July, however it was lighter than usual and only lasted a few days. It is now the 11th August and i still havent come on my period, having said this my periods are quite irregular. I know its unlikely to become pregnant as you are most fertile 14 days into your cycle, however I am still worried as my periods are so irregular. Please help me by giving me your thoughts.

Hello Anonymous,

I suggest you visit your primary care physician, gynecologist or a walk-in clinic and have a blood pregnancy test done.

If that blood test is negative for pregnancy, then you need a healthcare professional to determine why your period is so late.

Maryann

Hi Maryann,

I am having an unprotected sex from last 40 days 28.11.14 to 6.12.14 continuously and I want to get pregnant.

I had my periods on 03.11.14 and now I had my period on 04.12.14 again is that mean I am not pregnant..?

Please advise...

Anonymous question
I had my period October 31 (it was a regular period for me) lasted about 5 days . I had unprotected sex November 12. I was supposed to get my period November 28 but it never came. I started spotting December 2 and I'm on day 3 and it looks like it's about to stop. it is possible that I'm pregnant?

Hi Anonymous,

No, you cannot be pregnant because you had your period following unprotected sex.
