I had unprotected sex on Sunday while I'm on my week off on birth control pills and I was supposed to take the pills again on Tuesday of the week after but I stopped using it. Am I gonna get pregnant?

My period was on Thursday and lasted til Saturday and I had unprotected sex on Sunday (the same week). And I was supposed to take the birth control pills again on Tuesday but I stopped using them. Should I be worried that I'm pregnant?

Hi Anonymous,

It is highly unlikely since you should have been on your period during your week off from the pills. Since you are no longer taking the pill, remember to use another backup method if you are going to continue to have sex.
