Q:

I have 2 questions. I didnt bleed when i lost my virginity and have never bled during sex with that partner. However i have had sex with a different partner and i bled the first time with him. Does this mean my first partner did not break my hymen?

2nd question: during sex I get this feeling of needing to go for a number 2 making it difficult to enjoy. This usually happens if legs are lifted high in the air or doggy style (sorry about the details). After sex I let out a lot of gas which has odour not vaginal gas. I also feel very constituted for the whole day.

Hi Anon,

It is possible that your first partner may not have torn your hymen especially if you didn't have frequent sex with him. If your second partner is much bigger than your first and you  are having sex doggy style, then this position also increases the depth of which his penis will go-- perhaps even causing some intestinal pressure and releasing any trapped gas you may have had.

If you feel like you can't enjoy sex this way, try other positions that you find more comfortable and limit the ones that give you the sensation of wanting to go to the bathroom.

All the best,

 Rosa
