Anon - Alison has provided good advice. When you get the copy of your lab results it should also provide information showing any areas in which your counts were not within normal ranges. Also, if there are reasons to believe that an error has been made you can ask to have another blood test to compare against the first one.

We are happy to help you with this when we hear back from you.

What type of specialist have you been referred to?

You can call your nurse back, and request a copy of your lab results.

Let us know what information you receive, and we can try to help find some resources/information, but can't help until we know what type of specialist you have been referred to.
