Hi, Anon.

Thank you for reaching out to us with your concern.

Here is some information on vaginal discharge that might help.

Thick, white discharge is common at the beginning and end of your cycle. Normal white discharge is not accompanied by itching. If itching is present, thick white discharge can indicate a yeast infection.

A brown colored discharge right after a period means the presence of old blood in your vaginal secretions as it clears out.

Clear and stretchy: this is "fertile" mucous and means you are ovulating. Immediately prior to ovulation, most women usually detect increased vaginal secretions that are wet and slippery (similar to the consistency of raw egg white). Generally, your body produces the greatest amount of this type of vaginal discharge on the day of ovulation.

Vaginal discharge is most often a normal and regular occurrence. However, there are certain types of discharge that can indicate an infection. Abnormal discharge may be yellow or green, chunky in consistency or have a foul odor. Abnormal discharge is usually caused by yeast or bacterial infection. Your doctor can diagnose an infection if this is the case.
