I have gone 5 months without my period however all my pregnancy tests instantly come back negative

Im 19 years old and I'm on the bigger side; I have not gotten my period in 5 months, when ever I take a home pregnancy test they instantly come back negative. Since I started missing my period I have gained weight, I feel nauseous EVERYDAY and I feel like I'm sleeping more than usual. If I'm not pregnant what other reasons are causing my delayed period?
