i had a baby June 28, 2011 my period has been a little off since. i did breastfeed my son for like three and a half months. In august i got my period for a week went off for a day or so n then came back again for another week. then i didn't get it in September. i did get it in October and November. Then again i didn't get it in December. finally i got it on January 15th n i still have it. Its been almost four weeks n i have mild cramping.

Congrats on your new baby!

The first periods after having a baby can be very heavy but you shouldn't be bleeding for 4 weeks straight. It's a good idea to make an appointment with your doctor to see what's going on.
