i have had a uti for 3 months and not gone seen a urologist and he has me taking a antibiotic every nite before bed called nitrofurantoin 50 mg and now the infection is back and bad to where spasm are bad and traces of blod when i haven't had a period in

You probably have cystitis. Cystitis is the inflammation of the bladder. The inflammation is caused by a bacterial infection. A bladder infection can be painful and can become a serious health problem if the infection spreads to your kidneys.

The questions which you need to ask are:

 Why are you having recurrent UTIs?

What organisms are growning?

Are you becoming antibiotic resistant?

Start drinking cranberry juice or you can try extract which is available in health food stores. Drink plenty of water. Empty your bladder when you feel the need to void. Do not try to hold it.
