I have just started to have ice cold toes with some burning on the pads
of my feet. My feet have become a problem when I am on them to long. I
use a heating pad and that seems to help alot.
Thank you, Dee

Hey Dee, We did contact Dr Marlene Reid DPM FACFAS who had this response to your question:

"Its difficult to determine what is causing the problem but could be related to a previous frost bite or even something called Raynauds which can cause the blood vessles to the toes to constrict. You want to look out for the toes becoming either white or blue. This could also be a sign of diabetes. You really need to see a podiatric physician who can examine you and assess the likelyhood of one of these problems and determine if you might need to see a vascular specialist."

Have you recently had a case of frost bite or are you experiencing any other symptoms related to diabetes?

Dee, while you're waiting for your information from our medical expert, here are some links you might find interesting about cold feet. (Do you also have cold fingers and hands?)

Hi, Dee:

Have you consulted your doctor/podiatrist about this condition? Some conditions could be caused by circulatory problems, or can be symptomatic of more serious issues that could only be diagnosed by your doctor or specialist.

Can you give us a little more information that we could pose to our panel of medical experts?
