According to Hepatitis Central, viral load is how many viral particles there are in each milliliter of blood.
A viral load of 5,000,000 to 25,000,000 is rated as high.
Has your physician recommend starting treatment? I would think treatment is necessary with a high viral load and the fact that you are now considered to be contagious.
