Hi, Anon. I'm sorry to hear about your pain. Does the wild yam cream seem to help it?
Can you tell me how old you are, and if you think you are in perimenopause? Or if your breast pain is a sign of PMS? Do you have other symptoms around the same time? Does it always happen in a particular part of your monthly cycle?
As you know if you've done an internet search on wild yam cream, there are tons of conflicting opinions on it, depending on the kind of cream, what it is being used for and how old a patient is.
Here is a page from Sloan-Kettering on wild yam cream. It says that side effects are minimal, though with large doses you could experience nausea, vomiting or diarhhea:

Can you tell us more about the specific wild yam cream you're using? Not so much the brand name, but what it says on the ingredients label and where it's from? If you can get back to us with the answers to some of these questions we could submit your question to one of our experts and get a more definitive answer for you.
