I have neuropathy in my feet from chemotherapy. Is Lyrica a good drug to take for this condition?

Hi Anonymous,

Lyrica is an anti-epileptic drug that is used to control seizures and to treat fibromyalgia. It is also used to treat pain caused by nerve damage in people with diabetes (diabetic neuropathy) or herpes zoster (post-herpetic neuralgia). This information can be found on drugs.com here http://www.drugs.com/lyrica.html.

Lyrica is a well known prescribed drug for use in neuropathy. You can find more information on treatments here from the Neuropathy Treatment Association http://pnhelp.org/neuropathy/treatments.html.

I hope this helps. Please let me know.
