Hi Anon,

The pain in your chest is not from Leukorrhea. You should schedule an appointment with your doctor to discuss the pain in your chest. You could be experiencing anxiety or a panic attack. Chest pain can be a sign of something more serious or dangerous. Only your doctor can properly diagnose your symptoms.

Anon, will you make an appointment this week?

Best,

Kristin

Hi Anon,

Welcome to the EmpowHER community. Thank you for your question.

Likoria, which is called leukorrhea, is a a whitish, yellowish, or greenish vaginal discharge.

Leukorrhea may occur during pregnancy and is considered normal when the discharge is thin, white, and relatively odorless.

It is a normal condition occurring within several months to a year of the onset of menses in adolescent girls and is sometimes present in newborn girls, usually lasting one to two months.

However, in many cases, leukorrhea is a sign of infection, especially when the discharge is yellow or green, has an offensive odor, and is accompanied by irritation, itching, pain, or tissue inflammation.

It can be a sign of vaginal yeast infections, bacterial vaginosis, or sexually transmitted diseases. In this case only a qualified health professional can tell you whether you have an infection or if it is just normal discharge.

Anon, I would schedule an appointment with your doctor so that he or she can make a proper diagnosis.

Did this answer your question?

Best,

Kristin
