I have IBS but is doesn't seem to be the problem. I'm kind of sloppy with my birth control (I take a combination pill and I read it wasn't a HUGE deal if I didn't take it on time). I don't do it on purpose, I'm just forgetful. Anyway, my boyfriend and I have had unprotected sex recently since we really hate condoms, although he always pulls out. My period isn't due until next week. It seems too early to have any signs of pregnancy though. I haven't done any crazy exercising either. Just my usual run on the treadmill. I don't have a primary care doctor or a gyno either, although I'm in the process of looking for one. Could this be pregnancy or something else?

There isn't a particular side, it's just all over. It almost feels like if you hold in your pee for a very long time and then finally go, afterwards your bladder feels tender. It's that sort of feeling. Thank you for your insight though.

Hello Girly K,
Is the pain on the right or left side of your abdomen?
Until proven otherwise, pain in the lower right quadrant of the abdomen indicates appendicitis.
Since you had unprotected sex, lower abdominal pain, on either side, can indicate an ectopic pregnancy.
Colitis, which is inflammation of the colon or large intestine causes abdominal pain.
You need to be examined by a physician.
