Hi Anshu,

Have you ever suffered from constipation? Constipation can cause a colicky pain in the lower abdomen.

The most common causes are a urinary disorder such as a bladder or kidney problem, a bowel problem or a condition involving the reproductive system – the uterus, Fallopian tubes and ovaries.

In order to find out what exactly is causing the pain, your doctor must perform tests that can be general or specific to certain conditions--ie. urine sample, ultrasound.

If you continue to feel pain, please go back to your doctor or get a second opinion.

Best Wishes,

Rosa
