Vaginal discharge serves an important housekeeping function in the female reproductive system. Fluid made by glands inside the vagina and cervix carries away dead cells and bacteria. This keeps the vagina clean and helps prevent infection.
Most of the time, vaginal discharge is perfectly normal. The amount can vary, as can odor and hue (its color can range from clear to a milky white-ish), depending on the time in your menstrual cycle. For example, there will be more discharge if you are ovulating, breastfeeding, or are sexually aroused. The smell may be different if you are pregnant or you haven't been diligent about your personal hygiene.
None of those changes is cause for alarm. However, if the color, smell, or consistency seems significantly unusual, especially if it accompanied by vaginal itching or burning, you could be noticing an infection or other condition. Read to know more about vaginal discharge at: http://bit.ly/1jtMU5s

Hello Anonymous,
This sounds like bacterial vaginosis, which is condition where the normal balance of bacteria in the vagina is disrupted and replaced by an overgrowth of certain bacteria. Normally,, the vagina contains mostly "good" bacteria and fewer "bad" bacterial. Bacterial vaginosis develops because there is an increase in harmful or "bad" bacteria.
Symptoms include an odorous vaginal discharge. It can have a fish-like smell, and burning during urination or itching around the outside of the vagina.
To prevent complications, consult your health care provider for diagnosis and treatment. Bacterial vaginosis is treatable with antibiotics.

Hello Anonymous,
No. STDs are not transferred by kissing or dry humping.
A sexually transmitted disease is passed on by intimate contact with an infected person. In the case of genital warts, you can become infected by contact with an infected area or sore.
STDs are spread by having anal, oral or vaginal sex with a person who is infected with a STD.
