I have venous lake on my botttom lip.

I also have a what is called a venous lake on my lip. Years ago I had the same thing on the left hand side of my bottom lip. That one was removed surgically and I had 3 small stitched which did not even leave a mark. It never came back again. About 3 years ago another one appeared but this time on my righthand side of my bottom lip. The dermatologist also diagnosed it as a venous lake and I was referred for laser treatment. I now had 3 laser treatments and are due for the 4th in October with another kind of laser. This thing is not going away and I am now very self concious of this thing on my lip as every person that I meet wants to know what it is. Is it the right thing to have the 4th laser treatment or should I not rather consider having it surgically removed as the previous one. I hate the spot on my lip and I am so worried that it might turn into a cancerous growth. Please advise what I should do.

Welcome to EmpowHER. Sorry you are feeling this way.  But, it's important for you to discuss with your doctor or perhaps get a second opinion from another specialist. As to which treatment would be best for you and your skin.
