I haven't had a normal period in months, they are sporatic and a lot lighter than normal. There is no chance of pregnancy. I have been incredibly stressed at work, can this be the cause?

Hi Anon

Thanks for your post!

Yes, stress can directly impact a woman's menstrual cycle. But if this has been going on for months, a visit to your doctor might be a good idea in case something else is afoot, including any hormonal changes that might be going on.

Also, look into your stress factors at work and see what can be changed. Being that stressed for this long can play havoc on your health in general, both physically and mentally.
