Hi,
You might need to take another home pregnancy test, just to confirm that the results are accurate (some women use the test too early in their cycle).

If the test still shows negative, your period may be delayed for many reasons other than pregnancy. Reasons for delayed period can include a wide range of causes: everything from recent illness, excessive stress to medical condition.

Your symptoms certainly sound like an upcoming period or early pregnancy signs. Women's periods can also start a few weeks late for no "apparent" reason, so as long as your symptoms are mild, you can wait for your doctor's appointment. If you are concerned between now and May 18th, please call your doctor (since you have been having unprotected sex).

Who doesn't crave ice cream at 2am! :-) Honestly, this is not a "sign" of anything, but your other symptoms do sound hormone-related (either period or pregnancy). Wait a few more weeks for your period to begin, or take a home pregnancy test this week/next week.
