Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER. Thank you for reaching out to our community.

The diagnosis of a concussion cannot be made over the internet. You need to call your physician, report what happened and share your symptoms.

A concussion is a traumatic brain injury that affects your brain function. Effects are usually temporary but can include headaches and problems with concentration, memory, balance and coordination.

Nausea and headache are two symptoms of a concussion.

Rest is the most appropriate way to allow your brain to recover from a concussion.

Regards,
Maryann
