i just missed my period and test postive for pregnancy but am having serious stomach pains when i want to pee and after peeing....i sometimes dont even know i want to pee ....my stomach just starts paining then i will go to the bathroom and pee.....i have asked people who have been pregnant and everybody seems to think its not suppose to be like this...havent seen my doctor yet.....just schedule an appointment for next week... am worried...pls advice

Hi,
Congratulations on your pregnancy. The need to urinate frequently is a common early pregnancy symptoms. However, painful urination is not. You might have a urinary tract infection.
I understand that you have an appointment scheduled for next week. Give your doctor's office a call and speak with the nurse or medical assistant. Mention the pain which you are experiencing. The doctor may want to see you sooner.
