I just started taking ferrous sulf 325 mg. Perscription take 1 tab. 2 times a day .I am having abdominal pains with severe stomach cramps black stools constipation ,vomiting,no appetite, diarrhea, is this normal

Ferrous sulfate is a type of iron. You normally get iron from the foods you eat.

Side effects include constipation, upset stomach, black or dark colored stools, and temporary staining of the teeth.

Anonymous, please call your physician. I am concerned that you are having severe stomach cramps, diarrhea, vomiting and loss of appetite.
