I have been taking Trigestrel for the 4th month now, due to a hormonal imbalance. Last week I was at the beginning of the yellow tablets, i missed them on wednesday, thursday and friday, on friday i had unprotected sex. I only realised on saturday night that i had missed so many tablets. I have been feeling very tired, dizzy andbloated, and have also been getting severe headaches, i don't normally get headaches at all!! Could i be pregnant so quickly?

Hello liz1245,

Welcome to the EmpowHER community. Thank you for reaching out to our community with your question.

I am not familiar with Trigestrel. But, assuming that it is a combination hormonal oral contraceptive, missing three consecutive doses, not making up for the missed doses, and most importantly, not using back up protection during intercourse, there was a potential risk for becoming pregnant.

However, it would be too early to have any early pregnancy symptoms. Once you have withdrawal bleeding during the week of placebo pills, you will know that you did not become pregnant.

Consider contacting your gynecologist's office about the fatigue, dizziness and bloating. These symptoms may or may not be related to missing three doses.

Regards,
Maryann
