I take the birth control TriNessa and I am usually very good about taking it every day and on time. Well last week I was out of town for several days with my boyfriend. We had unprotected sex and he came in me. Well I didn't realize I had forgotten my pills at home so I ended up missing 3 pills in a row. I am supposed to start my period next week, but what are my chances of getting pregnant???

Anytime you have sex and miss taking one birth control pill your chance of pregnancy increase. However, depending on when that pill is missed, determines how much more your risks increase. Since you missed 3 days, the chanes increase tremendously.
