Um.. Hi.

I'm scared because last week of february, my bf and I fooled around (touching, rubbing but no penetration whatsoever). He didn't ejaculate anywhere near my labia but I missed my period which is supposed to be on the 10th. It's the 18th now. What am I going to do? Why is this happening?

Guide

Hello and welcome to EmpowHer,
First of all, pregnancy is not an option because you did not have intercourse. Outercourse cannot cause pregnancy, as you probably know.
You did not mention your age, but I do want to mention that it's common during adolescent years to have irregular and even missed periods. This is due to hormonal changes in the body because its still trying to achieve balance. These hormonal imbalances are usually nothing to worry about.
Red flags to watch for include prolonged, frequent or very heavy bleeding. Other signs include severe cramps and/or PMS without any bleeding.
Doctors often recommend taking birth control pills to regulate your menstrual cycle. But this is not necessary unless you have the red flag symptoms I mentioned above. Missing a period here and there is not necessarily an issue, especially when you're young.
Below I have pasted a link to a HER article that talks more about the causes of missed periods.
