Hi racheal123,

What a relief for you! Your menstrual cycle should return to normal and your next period start when expected.

Hello racheal123,

Welcome to the EmpowHER community. Thank you for asking for advice regarding your period.

Postinor 2 is effective in preventing pregnancy. It works by preventing ovulation or the release of a mature egg. It should only be taken in emergency situations, and never more than once in a one month menstrual cycle.

The reason you have not gotten your period this month is because you took the pill twice within four days and seriously upset the hormonal balance that regulates your menstrual cycle.

Contact your gynecologist or primary car physician. Your doctor may choose to do a blood test to rule out pregnancy or check your hormone levels.

Regards,
Maryann
