Ok, lets start with last month, i had two periods in one month. Then this month I did not have a period all month until yesterday. Here's where it gets weird, it started as just pink clear stuff. Then it got darker but it doesnt seem like it is that heavy. I have normal clots but nothing big and unusual. Also when i started I did not cramp all i had was pressure in my stomach and my back. I still have not cramped like a normal period, i just have a headache that wont stop, and i am really tired. Me and my fiance have been trying to have a baby, but i dont know my cyle so i really am confused. I really dont want to get my hopes up. Also the home pregnancy tests are coming up negative I thought it was possibly because it was too early. But we have also tried the home ovulation tests and little sign of that hormone and yesterday it didnt show up at all. oh yeah and i am dizzy alot.
I dont know what is going on with my body..

That is frustrating to not know what is going on with your body---I think we've all been there, so I'm glad you found this site!

Since you are having menstrual bleeding---regardless of color, amount of flow, duration---it means you most likely do not have a viable pregnancy. Some women may have a little spotting when they are pregnant, but this is not a typical pregnancy sign. More likely your menstrual bleeding is a period because you are not pregnant, coupled with the fact that you have had a negative pregnancy test. Pregnancy tests are very effective at detecting pregnancy once you have a missed period, so this test would most likely detect a pregnancy at this time.

Some women's cycles become irregular for no reason, possibly once a year and they will never know why that one month the color of their flow was different, they did or did not have their usual pre-menstrual symptoms. For you, this month, it sounds like you don't have your typical cramps, but instead a headache (which is caused by the hormones). Cycles can change for many reasons: stress, illness, new medication.

I'm also wondering, since you are trying to conceive, if the light pink flow was from a recent intercourse instead? If you have semen that is "leaking" out, along with your menstrual period, it could make the blood pinkish instead of red or brown. Just a thought.

It is a good time to start tracking your cycles; you can use a regular calendar, or there are many software programs online that tell you when it is predicted that you are fertile, when your expected period will be coming, etc.

How long have you been trying to conceive? Did you know that each month, depending on your age, you "only" have about a 20% chance of conceiving? That is why most couples can take up to a year before they become pregnant. Don't give up hope!
