Q:

I seem to have excess gas after gall bladder removal. Is this normal?

Hi Anon,

Gas after surgery is actually a great thing. It means that everything is back to working as it should. You may also have some mild diarrhea but both of these should begin to decrease after a week or so of surgery.

Hope this helps!
