Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER and thank you for asking our opinions on the safety of a monthly injection of estrogen 1 cc.

I hope that your physician discussed the benefits and potential risks associated with estrogen injection before treatment began. Your physician knows why treatment has been prescribed and your medical history.

All that I can offer is general information regarding estrogen injections.

Estrogens increase the chances of getting cancer of the uterus.

Using estrogens with or without progestins may increase your chances of getting heart attacks, strokes, breast cancer, and blood clots.

Do not start taking estrogen injections if you have unusual vaginal bleeding, currently have or have had certain cancers, including breast cancer, had a stroke or heart attack in the past year,
currently have or have had blood clots, or currently have or have had liver problems.

Regards,
Maryann
