Hi Anonymous

I'm sure you are scared. Ignoring this will make it worse, though. So let's talk through it.

You had unprotected sex? And then haven't had a period for several months? Are you in the US? If so, go to the Planned Parenthood website at http://www.plannedparenthood.org/. You can put in your zip code and find the closest clinic. They will test you for pregnancy and STDs, do an exam to see if everything is alright with you and if you are pregnant, with your baby.

They can then counsel you on your options. In many states your parents do not have to know about this appointment, and because Planned Parenthood bills on a sliding scale, if you don't have a job or money they will still see you and care for you. Then you discuss options with them, and figure out what you want to do.

When I was 15 I went to Planned Parenthood for birth control and exams. They are one of the largest providers of women's health care in the US. They get a reputation for just being an abortion clinic, but that is not the case. They provide health care for women with no where else to turn, and they will counsel you and help you figure out what is next.

Please make an appointment so you can find out for sure whether you are pregnant, whether everything is okay health-wise, and get some support in how to move forward. If you need to discuss this further, please write again publicly or with a private message. This is a scary situation for you, but it will be okay. Millions of girls go through this.

Take care of yourself, and please let us know what happens. We will support you in any way we can.
