Postinor 2 ECP is effective in about 85% women (overall) in preventing pregnancy and usually, does not cause major problems in the fetus if pregnancy has already occurred. However, since the pills contain high dosages of hormones that remain in your system for longer periods, it best to discuss what, if any, effect this may have on your baby if you decide to move forward with the pregnancy.
