My period is to come in ten days time but I had some discharge today that smelt like am already through with my period... Pls am I okk... Do I really need to feel the side effects to know it worked??

October 18, 2015 - 10:01amFirst of all, not everyone will experience side effects. This does not necessarily mean it didn't work. As long as you took it correctly, it will effectively prevent pregnancy.
Also, your vagina's odor should stay constant, not change depending on the time of month. A fishy or foul odor usually indicates a bacterial or yeast infection.

Thnks for ur reply.. My period is to come in 6 days time.. Am xo anxious for it.. Right now am having fever and wounds in the mouth.. Do I expect my period on the scheduled day or will it come earlier or later bcos of d drugs... I took postinor 2 twice in 1 week...

Taking EC twice in one week will definitely cause your period to be irregular in some way. Irregularities are not the same for everyone.
October 22, 2015 - 10:07amEither way, you need to see a doctor as soon as possible! Go to the ER if the fever persists. It can indicate a severe reaction to the overdose of emergency contraception pills. The mouth sores are also a very bad sign!
