Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER and thank you for coming to us with your concern.

Until you have vaginal bleeding, you do not know if Postinor 2 was effective and must assume that you are pregnant.

Postinor 2 is effective in preventing pregnancy if taken within 72 hours following unprotected intercourse or contraceptive failure. The sooner you take it, the more effective it is.

If you do not have any vaginal bleeding within three weeks of taking it,, you must test for pregnancy.

Regards,
Maryann
