Iam 42 and having my menses period extending 2weeks it has never happen before

As we age, our cycles can change due to subtle (or not so subtle) lifestyle and hormonal changes, among other things. I would not be too concerned since this is the first time. If it happens again, or you are simply concerned, contact your GYN.
