I was supposed to have my period yesterday Sunday, but it didn’t arrived. Also, on Thursday my boyfriend and I had intercourse and I’m on birthcontrol pills. Can I take a test now or should I wait?

Hi Susan,
I did have sex with my boyfriend. I took a test it said negative. Should I take take another test, because I had sex 3 days before my period or would this test result be fine?

Hello again Rosseye
As we have said, there is no realistic risk of pregnancy when you take birth controls daily and never miss a dose, which you said was the case. I also believe (if I remember correctly, that you did not have actual intercourse). If anything is going to delay your cycle, it's stress. When on the Pill, it's still possible to be off a day or two.
A pregnancy test would be accurate by now. I suggest taking a digital one that will say "pregnant" or "not pregnant" so there is no confusion over lines. There is no need to wait any longer, take one as soon as you can to ease your mind.

Hello again
The test is accurate, you are not pregnant, regardless of whether or not there was intercourse.
We need to draw this issue to a conclusion as we simply don't have the time or the staff to keep replying to you. You are not pregnant. I'm glad we could help you.
