If someone had sex yesterday and took postinor 2 the following day

Postinor 2 prevents pregnancy by preventing ovulation. It is most effective if taken mid-menstrual cycle before ovulation happens naturally and if take as soon after unprotected intercourse as possible.

It must be taken within 72 hours to be effective.

You know it worked and that you did not become pregnant if you have vaginal bleeding, either in between bleeding or your normal period, within three weeks of taking the pill.

Ond side effect of the pill is a change in the menstrual cycle. Some women will start their next period earlier or later than expected.

Anonymous, specific to your question, if a woman had unprotected intercourse, took Postinor 2 the next day, she would not get her period the very next day unless it was due to start that day.
