Hi, I Have a situation that I’m stressing over!
Me and my partner were fooling around and one thing lead to another, I’m a virgin (not after this) and it was all new to me. He stuck the tip of his penis inside of me for a little while but held it so it did not go in. He did not pop my cherry nor did he cum or pre cum. I am now worried I can be pregnant. Is it possible? When I touched him he was dry the only wet that was on him was mine. Thank you.

Hello.

For all intents and purposes, there is a risk of pregnancy when a woman has unprotected sexual intercourse with ejaculation that enters the vagina.

Just be aware that what you are doing is not safe sex practice, as accidents can easily happen. Rather than stress over this kind of situation, insist on a condom for any future genital to genital contact.

Hello Coco57734,

Welcome to the EmpowHER community. Thank you for reaching out to us with your question.

No, there was no risk of you becoming pregnant unless he released semen while inside of you.

Pregnancy occurs when sperm gets into the vagina or on the vulva. The vulva is the external female genitalia that includes the folds of skin, or labia, and clitoris.

Unprotected vaginal intercourse is the most likely way to get pregnant. You can get pregnant if you engage in body rubbing with your clothes off. Sperm can come in contact with the vulva or vagina. Any type of sex play where semen comes in contact with the vulva can possibly lead to pregnancy. Although the chances are low, sperm can travel through the moisture on the vulva and into the vagina.

You have a greater chance of getting pregnant from unprotected vaginal intercourse during the 6 days of your menstrual cycle before ovulation. Ovulation occurs when an egg is released from an ovary. However, ovulation is not easy to predict. Theoretically, this happens 14 days before the start of a period. But for many women, the length of a menstrual cycle varies month by month. Though you are less likely to get pregnant from unprotected vaginal intercourse a day or two after ovulation, it is still possible.

I hope this information helps you better understand how you can become pregnant.

Regards,
Maryann
