ask: if tricomonias goes untreated what will be the affects of having it a long time?

Hi Anon!

If Trich goes untreated, you may have constant pelvic pain with severe, foul smelling discharge. If you were to ever get pregnant, it can harm the baby and cause premature birth - something that's very serious.

Trich has to be treated, to live with active symptoms would be pretty horrific and you would be unable to have sex again (because you would be highly contageous and a person would not want to have sex with anyone who has these symptoms).

A course of antibiotics is all that is needed for treatment.
