Hi Anon,

Endometrial growths, unfortunately, can return even after a laparoscopy unless you have had surgery to remove your uterus and both ovaries. This is normally not done unless the case is severe, since it will prevent possible pregnancies in the future.

The best thing you can do is keep your doctor visits up to date to ensure that you are free from any growths.

Wishing you the best,

Rosa

Hi Anon,
Welcome to EmpowHER! Unfortunately, endometriosis can come back after a laparoscopy - sorry. I know that's not what you want to hear. I've had endometriosis for 20 years and several procedures done to have remove it. Here's a link to a group where many of us have joined and shared our experience. I hope you join us as well -

Have you already had the laparoscopy?
Take care,
Angelica
