if your liver is getting larger, what could be the cause

i have been getting a lot of infections in my kidneys and chest also muscle spasims in my intestines. dr. send me for ultra sound and resulut showed my liver is enlargeing. also been getting very bitchy which is not my nature.

Can you provide us with some more information?

Does your doctor know the cause(s) of:
- the reoccurring or frequent infections in your kidneys?
- what type of infections are you having in your "chest" area?
- muscle spasms in your intestines?

Why did your doctor send you to get an ultra sound; did s/he mention any possible diagnoses that s/he were trying to rule out?

When is your next appointment with your doctor, to discuss the results of the ultra sound?

Hi, i just found out the result of the ultra sound yesterday, and i am going for more tests tomorrow. I thought i would look up the reason for the kidney getting larger on the internet. What i found was the name Amyloidosis after reading the syntoms of this condition i reakized that my getting short of breath kidney infections and so on related to me. Also i am getting fitted for oxygen tomorrow at our hospital. I think i better make another apointment with the doctor tomorrow too, what do you think?
