I don't think it's a mental issue because he turn me on just fine, my body just won't cooperate. Is it possible that something got messed up during the abortion? If so what can I do about it?

Hello Amber4898,

Since I have no experience or knowledge about your particular problem, I did some research. I found that some women experience sexual dysfunction after an abortion. Increased vaginal dryness, decreased sexual desire, loss of orgasm ability, and painful intercourse are symptoms of post abortion sexual dysfunction.

Another woman posted that she experienced decreased vaginal lubrication following a medical abortion, which is commonly called abortion by pill.

I don't know of any physiological reason why an abortion would affect the Bartholin's glands. The Bartholin's glands are two very small glands located on either side of the opening of the vagina. They secrete mucus to lubricate the vagina.

Amber4898, I suggest you schedule an appointment to be examined by a gynecologist and discuss this problem at that time.

Regards,
Maryann
